Thank you for making my mom
better. I’m grateful for that. W.B. age 10

Hillbilly's story -
I came to the Rea of Hope in December of 2005. I was nervous
and didn't know what to think of anything. After a few days I
realized that I wouldn't have it any other way. "These
people really care! And you couldn't ask for more help and
structure. You can have peace with yourself, work, and
contribute." A. F.
Rea of
Hope has given me the chance to rebuild my life…a
life that had been fractured by substance abuse, domestic
violence and all sorts of other complicated issues. When I
walked through the doors, I was offered the very thing that it’s
name symbolizes, hope. I cannot even begin to fully express in
words the gratitude I feel in my heart for such a wonderful
place. L.S.
Rea of
Hope has been a blessing to me. When I came to Rea I did not
know if I could stay sober. I had never been able to
in the past. I found love and support in a safe environment that
I now call home. I have been sober for 6 months now and
there is not a doubt in my mind that this would not have been
possible without this beautiful place I call home and the women
here I consider my family. I have learned to love myself and
life again. I have a sponsor that helps me with the 12 steps. I
did not have any of these things until Marie let me move in. I
thank God every day for my new life, Rea of Hope and Marie.
